- Entry Requirements:
This course is suitable for those who have successfully achieved Highers or who have successfully completed a non-advanced College course. For school leavers we require applicants to have a minimum of two Highers at "C" grade in relevant subjects. For those returning to education, life skills and experience in the workplace may allow entry, subject to availability.
- Description:
The course structure allows for a bias towards sports instruction/coaching and development. The first year of the course focuses mainly on participation coaching which leads into performance coaching in the second year. It includes training and preparation for governing body awards at various levels.
This course will involve study at both Gallowgate and Gordon Centres.

This course is for people who would like to work in the sports and leisure industries.

- How will I be Assessed?
This course is mainly assessed on a continuous basis and does not include an external end of course examination. Course work takes the form of essays, presentations, practical assessments and case studies. Most of the assessment of student work is undertaken by College staff.
