  • Placement:

    An optional work placement in year 3.
    International placements are available in all Hospitality, Tourism and Retail courses.

    In years 2 and 3, there are opportunities to study
    with partner institutions in Europe as part of the Socrates/Erasmus Programme.

  • Career Opportunities:

    Tourism and hospitality are closely linked, and this course gives wide options for careers in both sectors.
    Graduates work directly in the tourism, travel or leisure sectors or within the
    hospitality industry. Some use their general business management training to diversify into other service sectors and several have gone on to launch their own successful businesses. Careers in tourism include Conference and Banqueting Manager, Visitor Attraction Manager, Tourism Lecturer and Events Management Executive

    Jacqueline is a single parent to Laura (20) and Chloe (17) and decided to return to full-time education after she divorced and decided to change her life completely. She joined ABERDEEN COLLEGE in 2004 and after successfully completing an HND, applied to RGU.
