Rebecca (20), from Bucksburn, met Michael (28), from Kemnay, while studying a two year HND course in Administration and Information Technology at ABERDEEN COLLEGE.

Rebecca, who has been with Michael for two years, said, 'I came to university straight after the HND as I knew I wanted to achieve a degree for the future.

'Earlier this year I was still deciding on whether to go on to do my Honours year or just leave with my ordinary degree in HR management. Then, in February I found out I was expecting so the decision was made for me.

'I am now nearly six months pregnant and the time is going past really quickly. I enjoyed my time at RGU and am pleased to be receiving my degree today. After graduating I'll be concentrating on finding a home for my new family and looking after my new born!'

Michael will graduate in December and is still considering whether to do the Honours year part-time.
