Lucy Browne

Lucy, from Westhill, studied for two years at ABERDEEN COLLEGE and gained an HND in Social Science before joining the 3rd year of RGU's Applied Social Science degree course.

She said, 'I'm delighted to have had the opportunity to achieve my ambition of entering university and gaining an honours degree. I have been involved in several projects aimed at promoting the 2+2 option both within and outside RGU.

Lucy's dad Neville, HR Manager for Organisational Development at RGU, will be at her graduation to cheer her on. Indeed, Lucy is following in her father's footsteps and will start an MSc in Human Resource Management at RGU in September.

Lucy concludes, 'Like all final year students I had to consider my career options and I decided to build on my undergraduate degree by pursuing a career in HR.'

'I've also thoroughly enjoyed rowing with the RGU Boat Club and delighted to have been part of the gold medal-winning coxed four team at Strathclyde Park in April. I'm really looking forward to another year of rowing and hopefully winning more medals!'
