WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
...and what about other benefits of Uni-link?
Well, how about becoming an Associate Student of RGU? 'What's that?' you may say.
The RGU Associate Student Scheme is open to all students planning to progress to ROBERT GORDON UNIVERSITY through the Uni-link programme.
As an Associate Student of RGU you will get heaps of benefits such as an RGU Associate Student ID Card which will let you get student rates at RGU: Sport as well as discounts at some high street shops (check with individual stores for details).
You will get access to library facilities at both the Georgina Scott Sutherland (Garthdee) and St Andrew's Street libraries. Not only that but you'll also be allowed to use online eBooks, journals & databases which you can use to help with your college studies.
But it doesn't stop there! The RGU Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) will also become available to you. Here you will find resources that will help you with:
- Writing and Study Skills
- Referencing
- Maths and Statistics
- English Language
These resources will also help you prepare for university-level study. You will also get an invite to an Orientation programme in September which will facilitate the transition from college to university.
Finally, after a hard day of studying at college, your Associate Student card will allow you to take advantage of the facilities in the RGU:Union (subject to age restrictions).
For more information on the Associate Student scheme, please go to www.rgu.ac.uk/studyskillsandaccess and go to College Links.
